Located within Verona’s Catullo Airport, near Air Dolomiti’s headquarters, the new data center is designed to meet the company’s technological needs, ensuring high operational continuity and energy efficiency.
Tier II Standard and Configuration
The data center is designed according to Tier II standards, providing partial redundancy for critical components to minimize downtime.
The general configuration includes:
Total electrical consumption: approximately 54 kW.
Racks: 12 racks, 23″ each, arranged in two rows to house servers and networking equipment.
UPS: One 60 kW N+1 UPS system, equipped with a Power Distribution Unit (PDU) featuring 24 circuit breakers (32A) and an integrated isolation transformer.
The power supply is stabilized by a 60 kW UPS system with built-in redundancy, providing 15 minutes of backup during outages to prevent service interruptions. An advanced cooling system manages airflow through designated hot and cold aisles, maintaining optimal temperatures and preventing overheating. Security is enhanced through a CCTV system with event-based recording and controlled access to safeguard data and equipment.
A centralized management system simplifies operations, supported by staff training and a dedicated project management team.
This configuration ensures a secure, efficient, and easy-to-manage infrastructure, supporting Air Dolomiti’s critical operations with high operational resilience.
