The project for the Ospedale del Nord Barese has been unveiled, a state-of-the-art healthcare facility to be built between Bisceglie and Molfetta, serving a population of around 250,000.

Inaugurated on July 26, 2025, the new hospital serving the area between Bari and Brindisi marks a significant step forward for public healthcare in the Apulia region.

The redevelopment of the San Donà di Piave and Portogruaro hospitals were unveiled on Monday, two projects are part of a broader regional strategy to modernise the healthcare infrastructure.

This significant achievement reflects the integrated approach to sustainability, well-being, and efficiency, with architectural design by Skidmore, Owings and Merrill – SOM, and Manens providing consultancy for MEP systems, environmental sustainability, and Smart Building strategies.
