Manens on the Project Team for the new Hospital in Syracuse
The multi-disciplinary team led by Proger, including Manens and Inar, has been selected to produce the final design and the construction management for the new hospital in Syracuse.
The Project’s Special Commissioner announced the awarding of the assignment after the market survey launched in January 2023 and following the negotiation of contractual conditions.
The city has long awaited the new complex: the feasibility project – initially developed for an international competition – has defined a geometric and compact structure articulated on a series of regular volumes, surrounded by an urban park. The result will be a modern 450-bed hospital designed following the most strict environmental criteria in terms of sustainability and energy efficiency.
