Manens-Tifs and Steam win the tender for the design of the New Tiburtino Hospital in Rome

The joint venture led by Proger and composed by Manens-Tifs, Steam, Inar, Studio Ingegneria Maggi and Suissemed, has been awarded the contract for the design of the new structure.

The complex, with about 400 beds, will be built near Tivoli in the north-east area of Rome, on a surface of about 83,000 sqm; with a total investment of about 200 M€ it will be one of the major public interventions in Lazio.

The structure will be designed in accordance with the most advanced criteria of “environmental sustainability” and “well-being”, combining “technological complexity – functional efficiency – comfort”.

Manens-Tifs and Steam will develop the plant engineering of the complex, implementing innovative technological solutions concerning both the energy production and the reliability of the fluid and electricity distribution systems; in particular, the architecture of the aeraulic systems will consider the experience gained in the construction of health facilities for the management of the Covid-19 pandemic.
