Pordenone, December 16th – the inauguration ceremony for the New “Santa Maria degli Angeli” Hospital took place, marking a milestone in healthcare excellence, innovation, and sustainability for the Western Friuli Region.
The hospital spans 82,500 sqm with a capacity of 475 beds, offering cutting-edge solutions for modern medical needs. Manens proudly contributed to the project by designing the mechanical and electrical systems and ensuring the highest environmental sustainability standards.
“The New Pordenone Hospital has been designed to address emerging healthcare needs while anticipating future challenges,” stated Prof. Mauro Strada of Manens, responsible for the hydro-thermo-sanitary systems. “Every choice aimed to strike the right balance between energy efficiency, functionality, and performance. The result is a state-of-the-art facility that places the needs of patients and healthcare staff at its core, establishing a new standard for Italian healthcare infrastructure.”
The project prioritizes operational efficiency, patient comfort, and an optimal working environment for medical professionals, demonstrating innovation and sustainability at every step.
