action for reducing energy requirements. Some interventions, such as the green wall, photovoltaic roofs, and horizontal green canopies, are extended and coordinated into an architectural element that reshapes the profile and facades of the building in line with its formal demands, enhancing the potential of the intervention and making it an efficiency-improving project.<\/p><p>The prefabrication system of the existing building, which strongly highlights beams, pillars, and structural modularity, is enhanced and integrated with an intervention structured on green screening modules. The green wall does not cover or hide the existing structure but integrates and renews it. The screening efficiency of the wall is achieved through careful use of planted shrub species. These, in addition to being native or naturalized, were chosen among deciduous and evergreen types to ensure good natural light passage during the colder months. The green wall also serves as a masking element for the rooftop AHUs, becoming an integral part of the roof canopy.<\/p><p>On the second floor, an extensive green roof was created, and the flooring along the entire perimeter adjacent to the windows was replaced. The design system included the use of openings on various floors that can be automatically activated to draw in outside air, establishing a natural ventilation and cooling system.<\/p><p>Other interventions aimed at improving energy efficiency included the complete replacement of all lighting fixtures in the terminal with efficient LED sources and the adoption of a building automation
