Desert Dragon Data Centers: Manens for the construction of Saudi Arabia’s new Technological Hub
As part of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, the country has launched the construction of the Desert Dragon Data Centers, a state-of-the-art 187 MW digital infrastructure. This ambitious project aims to revolutionize the Kingdom’s digital landscape by enhancing connectivity and data processing capabilities. The first 68 MW data center in Riyadh is set to be completed by March 2026, followed by three additional hubs in Jeddah, Dammam, and Neom.
Manens will play a pivotal role in design validation and construction management, ensuring smooth execution and efficiency throughout the process. The hubs will provide cutting-edge solutions for cloud hosting and AI systems, meeting TIER III security standards and aiming for LEED Gold certification, marking them as leaders in both technology and sustainability.
This project is part of a broader strategy aligned with Vision 2030, including the Green Riyadh initiative. As part of this project, Manens has contributed to designing MEP systems and lighting for the Al Huruba Park. This green project enhances urban sustainability in Riyadh, reinforcing the Kingdom’s commitment to environmental development.
With this new undertaking, Manens further intensifies its presence in Saudi Arabia, continuing a journey that began in 2013 with the Medical Cities projects in Jeddah and Riyadh. The Company’s involvement in high-profile projects underscores its leadership in delivering innovative, sustainable solutions across the Kingdom’s key infrastructure initiatives
