The Regional Hospital for Emergencies of Iasi Inaugurates First Phase of Works
Iasi, April 19th – the inauguration ceremony launched the first phase of the works for the New Regional Hospital for Emergencies in Romania. The ceremony was attended by the Minister of Health, Alexandru Rafila and the Mayor of Iasi Mihai Chirica underlining the strategic importance of this facility for the national health system.
Once completed, the New Regional Hospital will house 850 beds and will be equipped with the latest technology to ensure secondary and tertiary care in acute emergencies. This major project aims to significantly improve the quality and efficiency of healthcare in the North-East region of Romania by offering world-class services.
Not just a landmark for healthcare, but also a key project for the development of the city of Iasi: this new hospital will be built in a newly urbanised area, helping to transform the face of the city and provide essential services to the local community.
